HGTV's House Hunters show takes viewers behind the scenes and focuses on the emotional experience of finding and purchasing a new home. Each episode follows the buyer and real estate agent through the home-buying process, from start to finish. In the last segment of every show, the buyers show what they have done with their new home since the move.

The show's producers wanted to film an episode in the Baltimore area, so they signed up Ashley and her clients. The show was taped in May and October of 2004, and the Baltimore Sun even ran a story about the filming of the show.
