Local Expertise. Unmatched Dedication. If you’re buying or selling a home in the Baltimore area, you want an agent who knows the market inside and out — someone who combines deep local roots with proven expertise and a true passion for helping people. That’s exactly what you’ll find with Ashley Richardson, a trusted Baltimore real estate agent who has been guiding clients home since 1993.
With over three decades of experience and a lifetime of community connections, Ashley has earned her reputation as one of the most respected and successful Towson and Baltimore County REALTORS®. But for Ashley, success isn’t just about numbers — it’s about people. Every buyer and
seller she works with becomes a priority, and every transaction is handled with the same care, attention, and integrity as if it were her own home on the line.
A “Client First” Philosophy — Always
Ashley’s approach to real estate is simple: put clients first. That means being accessible seven days a week, answering calls and texts promptly, listening carefully to your goals, and guiding you through each step of the process with transparency and expertise.
Her clients often say they feel like they’re her only client — even though she manages over $30 million in home sales each year. That’s the power of Ashley’s client-first philosophy: no matter how many homes she sells, you always get her full attention. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer in Towson, moving up in Lutherville-Timonium, or relocating to the Baltimore area, Ashley’s mission is to make your move seamless and stress-free.
Experience You Can Count On
As a Baltimore real estate expert, Ashley has seen every type of market — from boom to bust and everything in between. That depth of experience means she knows how to adapt quickly, negotiate strategically, and deliver the best results no matter what’s happening in the market.
Her dedication and professionalism have earned her the distinction of Lifetime Member of the Masters Club, recognizing consistent, top-tier performance year after year. She’s also a go-to voice for media outlets: featured in Smart Moves (a nationally syndicated real estate column) and interviewed by WBAL-TV for local housing market insights.
But Ashley’s real edge comes from how she combines traditional service with modern technology. From professional photography and digital marketing to data-driven pricing strategies, she uses the latest tools to get homes sold faster and for top dollar — all while maintaining that
personal touch her clients love.
Recognized Leader, Trusted Professional
Ashley’s leadership and commitment extend far beyond her own business. She has served as an officer on the Board of the Greater Baltimore
Board of REALTORS® (GBBR), and continues to serve her peers and community through roles on the REALTOR® Political Action Committee and the GBBR Charitable Foundation Board of Trustees, where she currently serves as Treasurer.
Her peers have honored her with multiple industry awards, including:
She has also held leadership positions as Treasurer and Vice President of the Real Estate Million Dollar Association, Ltd., and as President of the Baltimore Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® — a national network that champions leadership and professional growth among
women in real estate.
To further elevate her expertise, Ashley has earned advanced professional designations including CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute), and ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative). She’s also a proud graduate of the GBBR Leadership Academy’s inaugural class, reflecting her lifelong commitment to growth and excellence.
Deep Baltimore Roots
Ashley’s Baltimore story runs deep. She grew up in Stoneleigh, attended Stoneleigh Elementary, Dumbarton Middle, and Towson High School, and graduated from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania with degrees in American Studies and English. Her background gives her an authentic understanding of the area — from the charming streets of Ruxton to the family-friendly neighborhoods of Timonium, Towson, and Lutherville.
Today, Ashley continues to give back to the community she loves. She’s a longtime sponsor of the Stoneleigh Community Association and has proudly served as the local coordinator for the Marines’ Toys for Tots campaign for over 16 years. Currently, she serves as President of the Dulaney Forest Community Association and Treasurer of the Greater Timonium Community Council — proof that for Ashley, “community” is more than just a buzzword; it’s who she is.
When she’s not working with clients or volunteering, you’ll find Ashley enjoying Baltimore’s trails and parks with her Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Bridget. She believes in living the lifestyle she sells — connected, active, and rooted in community.

Great service . . . . helped us to stage and sell our house in Towson in 2009 and purchase a condo in Mays Chapel . . . settled on the same day, then rented back our house for ten days which greatly simplified the move. Made the home inspection and financing process go smoothly. Took over our...

We chose well when we chose Ashley to help us relocate to Towson from the West Coast. Her expert local knowledge was essential for us. We were in constant communication for months as we sifted through potential homes, schools and communities. She sent extra video and photos from open houses. She...
Five months have passed since Ashley sold our home in Towson, Md and the debt that we owe her has been difficult to express, and obviously overdue. I have traveled the world for business and interacted with professionals at the highest level, but never have I encountered a professional whose skill set so ideally matched their profession. Logically, if we accept that it's at least possible to be the best in a given field then it's fair to wonder who that would for realtors. I would suggest that Ashley Richardson, of Long and Foster is that person.
If I list some of the ways she's unique and superior I might be providing other Realtors inside information, but really it wouldn't matter. Some might even be smart enough to do what she does, but then they'd have to be willing to sacrifice all their free time, work for their clients 24-7, send emails at 1am, handle a hundred personal touches, personally, promise a great deal and then deliver on every promise. Even though everyone wants to be successful, very, very few people in my experience are willing to work hard enough to be the best. Ashely is also highly intelligent, a superb communicator and marketer and so plugged into the community she lives and works in that there is no problem that can arise (and there were plenty of hurdles in our deal) she hasn't dealt with before or anticipated. Whatever the issue, she knows someone who can fix your plumbing, clean the mold from your attic, re-certify your termite inspection, vent your roof, re-mediate your radon...and they will absolutely take her calls and show up. Usually the next day, regardless of what it is. You want that kind of clout, influence, and class on your side.
Ashley sold 70 houses last year. 70. That's about a house every 5 days. She's up front about that, but without a trace of arrogance. You therefore understand that you're not her only client, but in practice, she'll make you feel like you're the most important. She always stays in touch, even when the action is slow, she doesn't hide out. Instead, she keeps your spirits up. shares her marketing plans, evaluates your space throughout the process and offers her insights and advice. TAKE ASHLEY'S advice. Every once in a great while we get to interact with someone with a superior intellect and on those happy occasions, you really can share the load of countless decisions and feel like you are getting the best advice.
All this commentary is highly subjective, I know. But here's something more tangible to support my praise: We listed our house with a different agent initially. Very nice person, and someone who seemed to be big in the neighborhood. Three weeks passed and we had NO idea why buyers weren't responding to our house. We were no wiser and we were running out of time. We got the information we needed after the first couple saw our house once Ashley had listed it. How was this possible? Ashley had gotten their Realtor on the phone WHILE THEY WERE STILL IN THE CAR and she literally interrogated them, in a nice way, about their thoughts on our house. She interviewed them (and EVERYONE else who saw the house) through their realtor. She'd ask the question, the realtor would put down the phone, get the couple's response and tell Ashley. Who does that? Not I previous realtor, I can tell you that. Ashley's marketing approach, the quality of her materials and the admirable resources of her long-time staff are unique. Bear in mind that our previous realtor was very strong in the neighborhood but the difference in the quality of material, substance of content and the well-thought-out rationale behind her approach were like night and day. I know this is a very long review, but it's also the last one I'll ever be in the position to write in which I can unequivocally say: Ashley Richardson is the best, lights out, end of story. List with her, follow her advice and you will sell your house and move on with your life. Finally, it was a pleasure to work with such a fine ethical person.
